The Metamora High School Bass Fishing Club has been formed to educate its members on Bass Fishing and to compete in IHSA sanctioned tournaments.
Membership: The club is open to all MTHS students.
Dues: There are no club dues however; members will be responsible for transportation, equipment, licenses, and any other cost incurred. There will be an open collection for food and drinks at each meeting.
Rules: All members of the MTHS Bass Fishing Club are subject to the MTHS extracurricular code of conduct. All members are required to attend 80% of club meetings to participate in competitions.
Meetings: The Bass Fishing Club will hold weekly or bi-weekly meetings throughout the school year. These “classroom sessions” are designed to educate the members on Bass Fishing tactics and other pertinent information. Members must attend 80% of meetings for the privilege of representing MTHS in IHSA tournaments.
